Services

What types of projects do you take on?

I specialize in home organization for kitchens, pantries, closets, playrooms, offices, basements, and full-home resets. I also assist with move preparation and packing, downsizing, and estate cleanout support. I am happy to tackle garages that are cluttered with general family clutter, but do not organize power tools or other tools.

Do you conduct estate sales?

I do not run estate sales. However, I help prepare for estate sales by sorting and organizing items beforehand. After the sale, I can assist with donation coordination, organizing trash for pickup, and resetting the home.

Do you offer cleaning services?

I provide light cleaning that naturally accompanies organizing, such as wiping down interior shelves or drawers before items are returned. I do not offer deep cleaning services. I do work with a trusted cleaning service company and am happy to set up a consultation for you.

Does your service include removing junk?

No, I do not offer junk removal, only removal of items that can be donated. However, I can help bag trash for garbage pick up, or if you have a dumpster available, I am happy to help throw junk items into it. I also work with a trusted junk removal company that removes anything other than hazardous waste (but they do remove tires) and am happy to set up an appointment for you.

Process

What is the minimum project requirement?

The minimum project time requirement is 2 hours. However, I may choose to only travel shorter distances for smaller projects.

How does the process work?

We begin with a consultation to discuss your goals and project scope. From there, we schedule your organizing sessions and create customized systems designed to function beautifully in your everyday life.

Do I need to declutter before you arrive?

No preparation is necessary. Seeing your space as it currently functions helps me design systems that truly work for you.

Will you make me get rid of things?

Never. You remain in control of your belongings at all times. I provide guidance and structure, but every decision is yours.

Investment

How is pricing structured?

I offer tiered package pricing based on the total number of hours booked, or you may choose to book by the hour (with a project minimum of 2 hours). As more hours are reserved, the overall hourly rate decreases.

What are your package options?

Signature packages currently range from 4 to 24 hours. Custom packages can be created for larger projects, estate support, or full-home transformations.

Are there additional costs?

Organizing products such as bins, baskets, or drawer dividers are purchased separately. I can recommend items, shop on your behalf, or work with products you already own.

One donation load haul away is included in the hourly pricing. If donation items exceed what can be transported in one trip using my vehicle, additional fees may apply for multiple haul-away trips or for renting a larger vehicle to safely and efficiently transport donations.

If I book a cleaning service or junk removal service for you, their services are not included in the cost of my services, and you are responsible to pay them for their services separately from Harbor Home.

Is payment required upfront?

A 50% deposit may be required to secure your project dates, with the remaining balance due at the completion of the project or conclusion of agreed on hours.

What areas do you serve?

I proudly serve St. John, Indiana and surrounding areas. Please inquire to confirm availability in your location.

Is my home and information kept confidential?

Absolutely. Organizing is a personal process, and your privacy is respected at all times. No photos or videos will be taken without your written consent.

How far in advance should I book?

Availability can vary depending on season and demand. Booking a minimum of a month in advance is recommended to secure your preferred dates, but is not required.
